Centre speaker, what could be up?
Discussion
It's a Kef XQ50C. Being run by a Tag AV32R.
I've always said (it's been up and running around a month) that I'm rather underwhelmed by it. Watching a film with a fair bit of music in it last night, at a fair volume, I went up to the speaker. The centre of its 3 drivers was working, yet there was nothing from either the left or right ones, and no movement from the drivers.
What is it likely to be, or is it a case of how long is a piece of string?
One of these, if a visual helps.

Easy thing to check first... is it bi-wirable? And if yes, is it bi-wired or single wired with connectors between HF and LF terminals that might have come loose?
Yes it is, and it's single wired. And yes, I got a torch behind the cabinet, and it was just that! I feel a bit silly now, have a virtual pint from me sir Gassing Station | Home Cinema & Hi-Fi | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
