Defender Servicing North London/Herts

Hey guys,

Sorry to ask a familiar question but i couldn't find anything for my areas in the search.

I've got a 2005 110 that needs a service and a few repairs (door hinges etc). Can anyone recommend an Indie in North London (probably n2/n6 outwards) or Hertfordshire?

There's a few I know, I'd just rather somewhere with a PH stamp of approval.

Harris Mayers Country Cars in Harefield/Rickmansworth (10 minutes from J18 of the M25)

I've used them a few times. Owner used to run a LR dealer in Watford and has LRs running through his blood. Scruffy looking garage, but Peter knows his stuff on old and new kit. Nice guy too.

Langley 4x4 in Kings Langley (5 minutes from J20 of the M25)

Used them for a Hand Brake adjust. Olnly opened in April and they are LR specialists. They did a good job for me, but I wasn't too happy when I discovered they used LR parts when Britpart would have been fine.

Hollick Land Rover

Small operation in Kings Langley. Relatively new and they guy has been fixing LRs since he was 16. I have used them once and I am unsure I will go back as they don't have an AutoLogic and that is king for the Discovery 3. However, they would probably be very good for what you need.

Chipperfield Land Rover is a main dealer in errr....Chipperfield and they have been around for years and this combined with the nature of the area means there are plenty of LR specialists around here. There is also Aylmer in Potters Bar, but I have only used them for parts and nothing else.
