Just had something settled via them, well finalising the legals.

I think they may have merged with another firm? Not 100% sure however.

He's still in the claims management game. I got some advice from him 6 months ago.

Hi,

Europa is still helping people out it's just that we no longer have our own fleet of vehicles to provide to clients to help keep them mobile. I'm pleased to say that I'm still in a position to help though, if help and mobility are needed. Proud to say that over the years I've been able to offer my advice to hundreds of PHers most of which we haven't actually provided any services to, just helped manage their expectations and given them some independent advice.

Couldn't have asked for a better service but admittedly that was due to having a car on my drive in under 24 hours time. How do you manage that these days? Don't get me wrong the car is a small, SMALL part of the service you guys provided. But it was convenient.

The whole point of credit hire is to minimise ones inconvenience. In the whole debate over the credibility of the credit hire service I think this is one point that is hugely under-appreciated.

To answer your question as to how I now manage the replacement car provision, I am working in a business development capacity for a company that has it's own fleet of vehicles. Link in my profile.

For interested readers the ABI GTA (protocol between defendant insurers and credit hire companies) is expected shortly to be hugely shaken up with a big reduction in daily hire costs for prestige vehicles and a minor increase in mainstream costs to bring rates into line with local car hire rates. Interestingly after years of CH companies trying to engage in dialogue with insurers, the insurers have for the first time (other than individual bi-lateral agreements) opened their doors to encourage that engagement.

Haha, me too, bloody buses. I got a very nice n/a elise when my S2 Exige got spanked by one.

Europa were cracking.

Used them a few times now:

First time for advice/help when after somebody reversing into me the process had dragged on over a year! - sorted within a few weeks of them being involved.

Second time when somebody drove into the side of my E92 335i in 2011 - got a brand new E class convertible within 24 hours - necessary as was off to France the day after!

The last year when somebody pulled out on my 540i, got a Scirocco R which did the job and they handled the whole claim process.

Would recommend them to anybody smile

Fantastic company, only had to use them once when my car was reversed into back 2006/7. Didn't get the outcome I wanted despite having a cop as a witness to some spectacularly half-witted driving but Europa were great to deal with.

Thanks.
I’ve pointed a few friends your way who have used your service and you’ve helped me on a number of occasions with pragmatic, honest advice. Much appreciated.
