OK, what's your best ever day with your Chimaera?

I only had mine 3 weeks. But yesterday evening, my 11-mile drive home from work turned into a 71-mile epic, that started in Fareham, took in the A32, the A272, and the A286 from Petworth via Chichester, back to Emsworth, where I live. It was a sunny, clear evening, and I haven't stopped grinning since.

Hopefully plenty more of these to come. I cannot believe what a feelgood car this is. And how positive people's reactions are. Nothing like the reaction to my old Honda S2000.

Bet all you long-term Tiv owners have got some favourites drives - but what was the numero uno?

I bought my Chim. unseen, All I had seen was a pic. fell in love and bought her straight away.Fantastic feeling when I got to Chester 3 weeks later to collect her. And the grin factor when I turned the key for the very first time.And I'm still grinning now 4 Months later.

Driving through the Alps - every mountain pass was a grin maker. The multitude of tunnels just added to the pleasure.

T350 was great fun too in a faster, revvier kind of way (whereas the Chimaera just burbled its way around).

My top dogs has to be every day on EuroHoon last year. The Beast never missed a beat all week, and driving up and down the mountain passes were with other Phers... Ohhhh the V8 burble

And the drive last year to Le Mans with V12(Tony996hasgoneandreplacedwithdiablos) V8(RViant) and porkers,etc Mr Tony's Masser who if you ask could only hear my V8

Well Sharky, NICE post, made me get all quivery and damp. many years ago.. when I were a lad etc ...Picked up my first Tiv (a wedge series 2) in Turktown (aka Gosport.. hence attracted by the Fareham link) whizzed up to Oxford to collect a mate and drove straight to Dundee to drop him off at home. Honest. No fibs, and then popped home to Anstruther. Late October, no heater(broken), ferkin cold. What a day, 650 miles. Busy M6, straight through exhaust, no Cat, rubber necks everywhere, felt like gods. Even my mate who was and remains a biking nut thought that it was a cool experience, aaagh... the mamory kinda lingers.

V8 rumble but I'm moving on..

Tuscan.......here I come.

I'm going to cry when she goes but... somebody else will enjoy and I hope they will get as much fun and pleasure as I have had over the last 12 months.

Today ...when I showed my son his wrx couldn't leave me for dead when the road is dry and I can get the power down...fortunately not too many twisties

...and I had the roof off

Best drive ever was leading a convoy of TVR's through the Champagne region. Picture the French coutryside in the early morning. The sun shining in a beautiful clear blue sky. The sound of birds singing in the vineyards, completely shattered by the roar of 5 TVR's passing through the sleepy villages heading for Epernay.

Every day on a ten day summer holiday down the Loire valley. Lovely weather so roof down each day and evening. Turned heads whilst being driven and collected oogling groups whilst parked up.

Has to be the EVO triangle near Bala in North Wales. 20 miles of pure, fast fun

Has to be Sept 2000 Euro Trip, the drive back from Monza over the alps then those Autobanns followed by a day at the 'Ring.

Nothing comes close except driving Spa this past two years in a Westie Blade.
