Amazon seller account - New
Discussion
I’ve been a long time ebay seller and know most of the do’s and don’t and the pricing structure....
Can’t fathom Amazon!!
Can anyone help me out with pricing fees? I’ve looked at their “fee calculator” but still none the wiser.
Healthcare items, picked packed and dispatched by us rather than Amazon.
Anything else to be aware of whilst setting up the account? We are a Limited company and VAT registered if that makes any odds.
Thanks in advance

Hi Keith
You will need permission to sell your stuff I am sure, so start with the "call me" option in help to check your ean. I have found the only really reliable way to see fees is to create the item and see the fee in your dashboard - if you email me a EAN number or item I can run it through our test account and I can give you some help with how the competition will react / pan out.
FBA / prime can be great if you are sure you will sell the item but imagine sending 500 boxes of gizmos and another seller kills your price - you have 500 boxes at amazon incurring charges for sitting on the shelf, return delivery to get them back plus handling and the cost of delivery to get them there.

Thanks DS, I’m in the verification stage! Healthcare has additional approval required as expected.... but it’s a new venture so nothing lost.
