Hi All - interested to get your thoughts on Defender pricing? Wanted a 110 for some time (or rather, my wife has). We need a second car, used occasionally. Love the Defender - anyone have any thoughts on the prices currently? Looking set to offer good residuals?

Thanks, Rob.

Too expensive and a bit poncey tbh. It maybe £38k but it’s uncomfortable and will probably leak when it rains. Do it properly and get a series 2 or 3 instead.

Is it me or is there no mileage shown?
Either way, it's well over-priced for a completely standard utility spec truck.

Thanks for your replies, interested to know if your opinions are based on the Defender (in general) being overpriced or this particular version? I know £38K would buy me something much more refined (that's pretty much a given) so more interested in opinions on this particular listing? Thanks.

Defenders are overpriced generally for what they are.
That one is overpriced for a Defender (in that spec). Almost £40k should get you a high spec station wagon in gnarly black with huge alloys, not a pick up truck in South West Electricity Board green on steel wheels.

ETA: p"raps I was wrong or maybe Approved Used isn't the place to look. Browsing through the stock some of the 90s are priced North of £50k. Bonkers.
