Mobile site - go straight to first post.

Is there a way to go straight to the first post of a topic when using the mobile site? I see a lot of topics that I want to read that I have never seen before but when I select them I go to the bottom of page 3 and have to scroll all the way up then type 1 into the page selection.

There's been loads of threads on here about it for the last 2 plus years, ever since the site techs employed by Haymarket undertook a number of changes to the site and caused a raft of problems / issues (like the one you've referenced) at the same time.

Unfortunately, despite numerous people stating how certain things no longer work correctly after the changes were made, nothing has been done, HM give platitudes saying "it's been raised for investigation", etc, etc, but in the end any issues like the one you've mentioned have now just become part & parcel of using this site that you just get used to after a while.

Basically it's broken, and HM aren't going to be fixing it anytime soon.

I was just thinking of posting the same. The jumping to the last read post is utterly borked, a link to the first post would seem a very quick and easy bodge?

It's been happening for a long time, and been ignored for the same amount of time.

Sadly, thought and excellent community they will hopefully continue, the site has been sold out to owners who appear not to understand or care about maintaining to forums. As such even core obviously glitches like this have gone unfixed for literally years.
