Hi,

Im having eibach springs installed which are 30mm drop.

I need to get alingment done after but im absolutely baffled with the 2 wheel 4 wheel stuff.

One garage quoted 80 quid for a 4 wheel alignment and adjustments as required.

Another garage quoted me 50 quid and said only the front is adjustable so the rear wont be touched.

Then another garage is offering a 20 quid 4 wheel alignment service with lasers which seems too cheap.

What do i need to get? Ford fiesta st mk7.5 2015.

Does your car have a solid rear beam? If so then there is unlikely to be any adjustment on the rear (or at least any which would need adjusting after a spring change).
Price is not necessarily the best way to judge quality of alignment.

4 wheel alignment often means they place sensors on all 4 wheels and then use the rears as reference to set the tracking on the front. They can also check the alignment of the rears but doesn't mean there is anything to adjust.

2 wheel alignment means they just set the front wheels to be parallel but with no reference to the rest of the car.

Im not sure how would i find this out?

So if its just the front is that then basically reffered to as tracking?

If you look under the rear of the car you will see a solid beam going across the car between the wheels (if it has a solid beam suspension).

It definately has that.

So does that mean i lower it and nothing is adjusted at all at the back?

Next question, if you want 4 wheel alignment doing, and in all four adjustable wheels set right, where would you go?

I can find about 2 garages who do it near me. Seems to be a rarity.
