I'm in pain, went out for my evening run last night, managed to stumble off a kerb and fell over (clumsy oaf). Most of what I've done would not be of concern, grazed knee and hands, but as I was falling I managed to smack my cheek into a lamp post. This hurt a lot at the time, I got home and kept ice on it all evening. Today it's not particularly swollen but quite tender, the bigger concern is it hurts quite a bit when I eat. Really not sure if I broken something or not?

Should I bother with going to the GP or cut to the chase and visit minor injuries as I'd get a X-Ray more readily assuming they felt the need? Or just man up and hope it gets better over the next few days?

Go to Minor Injuries right now.

You have impacted your neck, and you are still in pain. believe me Id rather see you be seen than suffer this and miss something dangerous or damaging,

get it checked.

You've bruised your cheek. Unless you have any signs on concussion (bit late now) just bear it til the swellings left your jaw in a few days.
