T350 purchase?
Discussion
Hi
I m looking at 2003 T350 with 16000m on the clock.
This seems high mileage for a 2003 car, but the car is the spec I want and the right ££££££.
Can anyone give me some help?
Will a car with this kind of milage be a problem?
Please let me know, as I am a TVR owner in the making, but have the usual fears associated with these cars.

A well looked after, use regular car will cost you a lot less in maintainence than a car that's simply stuffed in the garage for weeks/months on end, and, TBH, 16K miles is nothing really, especially if it has been looked after with care. I Know!

I second what Chris says, I try to use my car at least twice a week. Even after only one week of non use my handbrake seizes up. Mjc has made an excellent aid for prospective owners. www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=170765&f=7&h=0
My pet hate is condensation under the light clusters. Check for water stains on the base under the front perspex covers. Be warned though these cars are very addictive and your local drug dealers BP and Esso will love you.

Got mine in March-done over 2000 miles and not a seconds worry.
You will read a lot of well intentioned comment on this site alerting readers to problems-the Tam/T350's seem to be free of most problems and are better put together. Read all of this and weigh it carefully but consider the 36,000 mile warranty on the new cars was based on appraisal of the pre 2005 cars.Any TVR is FAR better being used on a regular basis.
And every mile is like no other car-I've owned and AMG merc and a lotus Elise-put them together and you get a TVR- huge fun every day!
