Which Porsche G50 transmission? What are the dimensions?

Hi, this may have been asked before, but I'm planning to use a Porsche G50 in a kit car project that I'm putting together. However, I'm really struggling to know which G50 to use or finding dimensions for whichever transaxle I opt for. Even finding dimensions for a basic G50 transaxle is nigh on impossible. I've seen a few rather rubbish attempts on Google Images, but I'm looking for something far more accurate as packaging is of paramount importance in this particular project.

So, could anyone help? Perhaps you know of blueprints for a standard G50 or could recommend the best G50 transmission option?

Furthermore, I'd like to hook it up to a cable shifter. So, any recommendations as to which box would work best with which shifter kit would be much appreciated!

You would be better off going for a G96 which is all ready to go on cable shift. You then just need standard cables and standard shifter (perhaps with a quick shift upgrade).
Try asking this same question over on the Ultima forum where these 'boxes are the norm.
