How to open boot on BMW 1 series coupe

Bus went into back of me anyway put a new bootlid on. I was in a rush so didn't clip any electrics back in n shut the boot ! anyone knows BMW the coupes the seat release is also in the boot so I can't get to the release for the boot from the inside unless anyone can tell me how to get either the boot open or the back seats down ?

There is no keyhole in the recesss above the registration plate?

I think one of your best options if the electrics aren’t connected would be to remove the rear seat base and undo the seat backs from the bottom to allow you to pull it open a bit which may give you access the get something to reach the seat release handle in the boot
