So the Vantage doesn't feed the inner hooligan?
Fortunately not Anthony, it's more of a gentleman's carriage
Anyone else grow horns when they take the TVR out (compared to driving the daily etc)?

I took mine out for a drive this afternoon and stopped off at a Porsche independent in the countryside. Had a good browse through their wares and even had the dealer offering me 20K for my car in PX.
Good sense prevailed and I left empty-handed, (for now).
If you want performance then there is nothing within my price range that would outdo the chim although in a Porsche I would be able to hear my wife speak , hmmm.

Porsche would be a nice stable mate, but not a replacement for the Tiv, especially not your Tiv, you would be mad to sell yours it is fantastic car.Good sense prevailed and I left empty-handed, (for now).

Long time no see Chilli, how the devil are you sir. How is life with the Aston?
Hi Matthew
All good here
Life with the Aston is superb, so much so I can't (unfortunately) imagine life without one... It's a bit like an expensive overcoat, very comfortable, stylish, always looks good, wear it anywhere.... The Chim on the other hand (pun coming) is like putting on a boxing glove, changes your attitude, makes you want to punch something, even if it's only a hole in the air
Maybe that feeling will go away when I grow up though
Hope you're well Matthew, be good to catch up with everyone at a meet somewhere this year....

Iain, I feel your pain......

Glad you are enjoying the Aston, it really is a stunning car from every angle and a true gentleman's car. Glad you still have the chim, yours is particularly nice and like you say a different animal to the Aston.
