Due to get my tracking done at the local four wheel alignment place.

Last time I went there was a bit of uncertainty about which car mine was on the not overly clear list, lots of specs/models but nothing exactly right. In the end we looked at a few and picked a bit of a line of best fit.

What should everything be, does anyone know. Struggling to find a table of it I trust.

Thanks

Daniel

This is what I run on my E46 330d Sport - stock suspension with the exception of poly bushes all round and adjustable rear camber arms. The setup is for the most part 'factory' settings with a little less rear toe and a little more rear camber.

I took these settings from Helix on this forum as he had ran this on a few of his E46. Nice setup, very stable at speed with good steering weight through corners.

Good luck, and pray nothing is seized (had to use an induction heater to move front track rods).

Thanks.

The car is standard as far as I know and I'm aiming for an OEM feel. I've just had a set of Bilstein B4 and Eibach springs fitted, which I'm happy with.

Last aligned 18 months ago when I bought it without issues, so hopefully fairly free.

Wheel alignment for sport:

Ballast configuration for alignment:

BMW's KDS alignment tool will compensate for no balances fitted and adjust the values accordingly. Not quite sure if the hunter alignment does the same?

When it says 'low slung sports' is that OEM spec sports suspension, or with some lowering?
Expect it doesn't make much difference, I'm just not familuar with the site, is that garage data or aftermarket?

I believe the Eibachs are mildly shorter, but the car is sitting a almost exactly the same height now are before which was unknown origin fronts on shot sachs dampers and 18months old pattern part rear springs.

I believe that would be OEM sport spec.
Newtis is an online version of BMW's workshop manual, all OEM.

Sounds good. Thanks again.

Sadly the guy is booked up all week, having not got back till this morning. I'm then not in the area for the foreseeable.

Might have to take the datasheets on a tour!
