Pinnacle Neon 3

About to order one of these. Principally for the commute to work (about 5 miles). For fair weather commuting only I should add. I usually drive but will try to ride once a week over the summer (when it is light and a bit warmer). Yes I am a wimp but something is better than nothing!

Anyone with experience of this bike?

Mrs Pablo has a neon 2 and loves it. It's a few years old but lasted well. Nice and light, about 22lbs which is pretty good for a lower end hybrid.

Other half has one used for similar commute duties and longer weekend rides. Good hybrid, she found the gearing was a little tough so I changed it to a larger cassette and corresponding mech. Looking at the current version that's changed now to come with easier gears

Also interested to hear thoughts on the Neon 3, it’s on my shortlist for the 2.5mile commute from the village to the office.
