I popped into a car dealer a few miles down the road today, to take a look at a Jaguar XJ. I noticed the garage has mainly 5* reviews with well over 100 of them. I was greeted by a salesman, Damien.
He went through the spec of the (very tidy) XJ. He then told me that they don't offer warranties, as it would automatically have 6 months under the Sale of Goods Act!!!!! I'm amazed at his honesty; VERY refreshing! If only all were so honest and upfront. My big question now is, can I live with a 3L V6 Derv?
When I bought my XFR last summer (different garage) I had to remind that seller of his obligations.... he duly changed the supercharger coupling at his own expense.
