PH staff,
Please will you actually do something about this poster, All he does is run around the forum commenting on posts to belittle and degrade the thread into non sense.
Whilst he may pretend to be a lawyer or quickly google information to have the correct answer first, most of his posts are very unhelpful and cause a thread to either get derailed in arguments, or a clean sweep by moderators resulting in the useful poster before 2cv's arrival having there information/post also removed.
Is it not lunacy to leave him here causing undesirable threads and problems for the rest of us?

I completely agree and you can add sidicks and Gran Fondo to the list. They all have some sort of personality disorder and just spoil threads that they contribute to.
I’m sure that a mod will post saying that they can only deal with posts and members that are reported to them but there should be more oversight of the forums so that problem members are dealt with before they go too far.

Not sure anyone is going to be punished on here just because you don't like them, if someone breaks the house rules then they will be punished accordingly.
I find his posts are more "playing devil's advocate" and let people choose to see another perspective. Nothing wrong with that in my books. You may have to post some examples for this thread to go anywhere.

Of course, like every other thread on pistonheads. People have jumped on the thread to lynch the OP.
Not surprise there, it's not that I don't like toomany2cvs because I don't know them personally, also it's not a problem of being able to understand his post's.
It's the constant derail of threads and sarcy comments, that yes could be ignored but it is really a waste of everyones time.

Sometimes he has a useful contribution to make, sometimes not, just like every other poster on ph.
Unless someone is breaking the rules, we shouldn't censor them. Just make your point and ignore the irritating responses. Making your point once a clearly and then not getting into arguments with "idiots" but watching the arguments unravel can be quite cathartic
note: I have had many a "disagreement" with 2cv's, but so what, I have on occasion agreed with him.
