Hi All,

Been a while. Took the car apart a couple of years ago to do the chassis but got side swiped by divorce and just got around to the rebuild.

My phone with my disassembly photos is long dead so i might need some assistance....

Question 1 the bush in the photo above is not symmetrical and has the rubber protruding from one side. Anyone know which way around does it go in the arm....

Anyone have some rebuild notes on things like brake and fuel pipe routing?

Thanks in advance!!

Matt

Matt,
Pm me, I have full pigeon notes and photos of my cerb strip down and can zip them up. Not sure you’ll understand my terminology but you will get the picture 🤪

Btw, not sure about that bush, can’t remember seeing any bushes that aren’t symmetrical 🤔

Is that a new bush? not sure I'd be putting old ones back in.

I'd agree - put new bushes in, that one looks worn out.

Thanks all. That is a new bush and the two I got are the same!!

Out the packet from TVR Power (bought a couple of year ago, just opened the packet yesterday).

Will give them a shout tomorrow.

Hi Byff, looking at your photos it does seem the bare rubber sticks out the top to a similar extent as I would have on these new ones so maybe they are correct

Just had a brainwave as a perpetual hoarder I had the old ones buried in the roof of the garage. They are the same as new ones so Byffs photo answers the question.

Off to press them in now.

Thanks all!
