It's going to happen I guess, between now and then. People will drop out, cars will go BANG. Thats just life.

However I can guarantee that on the day we will have the most amazing selection of Metal ready to be thrashed down the 2.1 mile runway!!!

Are there quite a lot of costs incurred to stage this event? It says on your website that only £600 went to charity last year. This seems significantly less than entrants alone (£5k plus?) are donating. I'm sure there is a perfectly good reason for this but can you elaborate? Thanks.

Well last year we only charged 50 GBP for entrance and only had 6 weeks to organise it!!
Also we didnt sell as many tickets as we have already this year! And spectators were relatively few! We managed to negotiate a good deal on the track last year but had some overheads and as of the morning of the event we were in the RED!

(bear in mind to hire Bruntingthorpe was 5k GBP without any flexibility!! Even for a charity event! That should put it in perspective for you!)

Well good luck this year - sounds like you'll have a full entry list (with some great cars) and I'd be there too if wasn't so far away.

Do you know who performed the cnversion to the 600bhp m5, it will be interesting comparing it to the new V10 car.

all the best

2 more Dodge Viper Venoms signed up. .

and

1 GTO with a 12.1 quarter mile under his belt at Santa Pod (this month) and a dodgy boost solenoid at the time!!! Going to be stupidly quick when working properly..

What type of reinforcing/strengthening has to be performed to make the engine reliable?

And how much does the conversion cost?

Sounds very tempting...
