A few questions..
Discussion
I promise not to be a major PITA but there are a couple of things I need for the Cerbera and thought you may be able to help on where to get them and price:
The small motor to open the boot - I have been told that this is a Mondeo part but does anyone know what year, model etc as Ford is closer that TVR.
Wheel centre trims - are these available as I'm getting the wheels refurbished and these let the car down.
There does seem to be a couple of electrical faults on the car, when you put the cigar lighter in the socket, the windscreen wipers go on and the radio turns off! Any ideas?
The other is the ambient temp warning light. It flickers all teh time, anyone know if this is the sensor itself, and if so where is it and how much?

Tim, don't worry about being a PITA, they're all sorts of daft questions posted on the board (usually from nervous or myself) and the learning curve is pretty steep being such a specialist car.
Can't help you with any of those, but a decent indie should be able to source them for you....

Thanks for the replies, just got back from Walldonway Servicing/Parts, after a very useful and helpful chat with the guy there.
Now have a boot that opens and some shiny wheel centres.
Also, talked me through putting in a new Earth on the cigar lighter to hopefully sort out my electrical glitch.
Talked about hesitation and he's sure it is Throttle Pots, so now I need to get them all balanced.
Makes me grin just looking at it, didn't know if it would after parting with the Chimaera, but I guess that's a good sign

Get your pots balanced, check the coils (usually the top one goes 1st) and that the throttle cable itself isn't getting stuck.
Thanks for the advise, I have the PC software but that's all.
I use Macs for my business so I'm looking at getting a cheap laptop for running the software, also do you know what cable I need? I have the service manual so I have the tune-up procedure.
