Hiya

Me and my partner have not yet recieved our voting slips for the general election.

We moved to our new house in June last year, and are registered there with the council for the tax. Since we were not living together before then, we have not had the slips to our old residence either.

Are some still being sent out? Who do I contact to get my slip. Really want to vote this time more than any!

Is it the local council who I need to give a bollocking?

So long as you are on the elctoral register, you do not need a voting card to vote, just check with your local records office ( or get a political party to do it for you if you feel lazy) to make sure that you are listed.

Yup, listed. All good and sorted. Just some people I know had them like three weeks ago, and we don't yet.

Glad we're registered though, deadline for apps was 11th March! Eekkk

Thanks for the help.

I think your local Labour party would quite like to get hold of these.

They probably already have your other 3

The only way my local labour party are going to see any of my polling cards is on the end of a broom rammed up their lying arses........

Don't mean to be rude, but why call the local labia party? Wrong number? Confused?

Should you be on a forum like this with the intelligent people?

Apparently there is a prospective mp 9of an 'ethnic persuasion' in bradford who has 47 (or some equally unbelievable number) voters registered at his 6 bedroom house.

When questioned, he said that several residents 'were on holiday'.

MMMM..... Thats OK then
