Leaks - they all do this too!

I guess this has been covered before, but can anyone give me a definitive list of the places water gets in on the front passenger side?

If mine's out in the rain (sacrilege I know, but it happens) or when I wash it the passenger footwell gets saturated. Its pissing in somewhere!

The most common place for water to get into the footwell is between the door seal and the bodywork.

Try just removing the seal, run a bead of silicon sealant along the groove in it which goes over the bodywork lip and that should do the trick.

It's worked on both of the Cerberas that I've owned!

Same trick worked for me too, I also found the second seal that is attached to the door was actually channelling water over the inner seal, so I removed it, for total dryness.

If it still leaks try taking all the lower trim off the dash then when it pisses down run out to your car & lie up side down in the foot well with a torch to see where the water is getting through, there could be a few holes in it that not have been re-sealed after repair work. If you own a hosepipe & a drive you’ll get a lot less comment from passers by!
