Auto-enrollment pension schemes

Does anybody have any recommendations? I've just taken on my first employee so need to sort this out. Been quoted £500 + VAT by my accountants to set one up and then a few quid extra per month for the "extra work" they have to do on each payslip.

Register with NEST yourself for free and doable in under 10 minutes. If you only have 1 employee there is a pretty high chance this is who the accountant will be using anyway.

If the Payroll software they are using is half decent it will incur an additional few seconds of time per payroll run.

I second the NEST recommendation for a single employee.
