What is of concern is that they do appear to be 'taking over'
I left my girlfriend in the car for a few minutes this weekend, and in the short space of time I was gone chavs appeared, hurled abuse calling the TVR a shitty porsche, what a
ing shit colour etc etc. Then more chavs in cars came racing into the car park, around and around they went, before speeding off again.
I got the finger from another chav in the middle of town on the weekend, and the week before whilst in town one night, two drunken chavs stumbled out in front of the car, one of them leaned over the bonnet on his hands, then did the same to the car following us behind.
Dont they have something cooler, perhaps more elegant to aspire to during the time when clothes, friends and behaviour were of paramount importance?
Being a chav does seem to be the in thing amongst so many, but why?

I think it's some kind of social disease. They have no aspirations so think it's fine for the to know down and destroy the dreams and gains of others. A small minortiy of them start this but because it is easier to target those who do work than work themselves they grow in numbers. Typical of the apathy of society and the attitude that it's ok to do nothing as the state will take care of you if you don't want to work.

Lets keep this on topic though. IMHO they are increasing in numbers, which is sad, because without their type Britain would be a much nicer, safer and friendier place.

What one must remember is that Chavs are just a sector in an entire underclass that are harboured with the cossetting bosom of the benefit state.
This vile invention has given people the opportunity to avoid the requirement to aspire to just about anything. Whatever they do the state will be there to provide their next meal.
Couple this with the human rights lunacy that is shackling our police service to mountains of paperwork enabling anti social behaviour to propogate and affect the masses.
Now I dont think this situation is any different to what it was say 20 years ago.
In modern times however the aforementioned human rights lunacy has also removed local societies ability to police itself.
Labours 'equality' principal has shackled local community into becoming sitting victims whilst at the same time allowing scum like this to propogate like rats on viagra.
This vile invention has given people the opportunity to avoid the requirement to aspire to just about anything. Whatever they do the state will be there to provide their next meal.

Yesterday afternoon was a lovely warm day to sit in the garden of my new home with a nice cool drink. That was until a Chavalier with 7 of these in-bread mutts decided to park in the pub car park 100 metres up the road and have a disco. The peace was soon disturbed with thumping bass and 'ah, thas feckin wickid' screached at full vocal while they all got pi$$ed on white lightening at 2 in the afternoon.
Now I know that there will always be scum with no social etiquette and that it's a fact of life but what really gets me is that there is NOTHING you can do about them. They are immune from the law and they know it. Whenever I call the police it's the same old "Yeah, we know, some of your neighbours have complained too. We'll get somone round to look into it" knowing full well that there is nothing they will do so won't even lift a finger. Vigilante justice is the only way forward as far as I see it.

last week i was driving along the a34 when i local chav spat at my car as a crawled past in traffic! No manners and no hope. The problem being that in our inclusive society scum like this think they are owed what it took the rest of us years to get.
Human rights are all very well and good but you have to accept human responsibilities as well. On a purely personal level i'd like to see these "people" excluded from society. We could have a minimum contribution level based on what percentage of your life earnings have gone in NI. If you fall beneath the contributions threshold then you get sent to some uninhabited island where you are free to live like the animal you are
Crime would be cut to virtually zero, money saved in benefits could go into the health service and our streets would be safe places to walk. Shares in burberry and elizabeth duke would take a beating but that's the only downside i can see.....

My parents put tens of thousands of hours work over the years, doing their best to bring me up as an honest, friendly, considerate, respecting and respectable person. Went off the rails a little during my teens
as many of us do, but in the end they succeeded.
Fact: Having a 'good' family doesnt guarantee that you will grow up to be a 'good' person.
Another fact: And to the point - how can a family of chavs POSSIBLY raise their offspring to be any better than them? I cant imagine them suddenly growing up, becoming the respecting caring moralistic types like us, and raising families in a similar way.

Yes, officer, i have a severe twitch in my left leg. This led to my dumping the clutch in first at 5000rpm.

I can show you places in Cheshire where people spend a fortune on blinged-up cars, hideous jewellery, covering their houses in tat at Christmas, ugly designer-labelled clothing and so on. They'll drive around blaring music out antisocially, hold yobbish parties and start fights on nights out. They're a bunch of tasteless showoffs and, despite living in houses that cost nearly 7 figures, don't seem to have many aspirations other than showing everyone else how rich they are.
As a result, yes, I'd say it was a social disease that infests every level. It's a compulsion to be antisocial, loud, abusive and a shameless showoff and, for some reason, love it.
