Hi all
I have a 3.2 Carrera and my breaks have started to make a squeeling noise, I first thought it was the bearings but since I have now changes them and the sound is still apparent I am a bit lost.
I am now starting to think it could be warped discs.
I have jacked the car up and the wheel binds in one area only and its the same on both sides.
Any suggestions would help.
Regards

Apparently, disks don't "warp" - they get deposits and that could be what you're seeing.

Please excuse asking a dumb question but, when was the last time you changed your pads? If they're low, it could be that

Lots of places have disc skimming machines these days - they clean the surface of the discs effectively.

I've even seen somewhere recently a disc skimming machine that doesn't require the removal of the disc from the car, but i can't remember where...
