Looking for a sorted 924 n/a

I'm lucky enough to own a couple of 911's but am now on the hunt for an honest, sorted 924 n/a for my son.

Anyone know of a decent example?

Hi the only one i have seen, is the restoration project that Porsche Bristol did, but it was up for £30k.

Thanks all.

Looking specifically for a 924 as it's for my son (who has;t passed his test yet!). A 944 will no doubt be more expensive to insure.

But they seem to range from £1k to £30k!!

I'm following up a couple of leads within the 924 owners club, and keeping an eye on auction websites...

I don't think so? I'm not so sure about today, but some years ago the 924 was put in the same group as any other Porsche, back then group 20 (i believe that grouping has changed now) anyway, my son was given a 924, it was impossible for him to insure, cheapest quote was over £8k. He is a mechanic with trade insurance, even that didn't help him.

Got one!

1984, manual, N/A, black/black, 121k miles, well-known to the 924 Owners Forum, original service book, CoA, receipts back to 1988, Sports Seats, reconditioned gearbox, suspension refresh, etc.

Drove it back from Dorset to West Cornwall and it didn't miss a beat. Handles very nicely thanks to the even weight distribution. Popped the (huge) sunroof, cranked up the De La Soul cassette and headed west!

Bought another 924 a few days ago. It's not sorted. Have two years to get it running well.
Then we drive with three 924's to Beijing.
