Following an altercation with a huge stone in middle of carriageway 
the sump on the Chim now has a neat crease down it, and its not leaking (Lucky you might say.....). Anyway any ideas on what Range Rover etc this comes off or is it cost wise easier to get a new one? It's a late 1998 450.

I might not be leaking but you'll need to check the strainer / pic-up when you replace it. This sits very close to the bottom of the sump, within a couple of mm, so if the dent is at all deep it may have damaged the strainer and its conceivable that if there has been much movement that the pick-up tube could be cracked. The latter needs to be checked carefully as a crack may not be obvious - but an air bleed into the oil pick-up could spell disaster by changing a solid column of oil to the pump to a stream of foam!
