Window dropping

Just collected my 540 on Wednesday and the dealer informed me of an issue whereby the window drops down half way when you close the door. Apparently being looked into and is a software issue. After it had done it for the 10th time in 3 days I’m getting a bit annoyed. Anyone know anything about the issue?

Does it happen before or after a drive?

My passenger one has done it when I have unlocked the car, opened the door (say to hoover) and doesn't go back up once closed.

My 650S had the same issue, it can be fixed.

The drivers side on my 570s does the same, can be really annoying especially when you have to get back into the car to close the window before trying to get out and lock it again. There is a re-set procedure for the windows, involving dropping the windows and holding the 'down' button down for a few seconds before doing the same in the 'up' position (the details are in the manual) which helps, but hasn't totally cured the issue.

It's worse if I close the door gently, a firmer 'shut' and all is well. I also find that the window rises up automatically when locked sometimes, but not always.....

Mines due it's first service soon and i'll get the dealer to look at that whilst it's in with them

Always when locking the car after having been driven.

Thanks, am back in Sweden now (car in London) so will check manual next week when I’m back!
