Sorry should read BV!.What are the pros and cons of these.
Thanks
Steve
Many pros, few cons.
See other threads ref buying Chims & "10k Chim" (old thread). I have a feeling all 4.3's had BV's - anyone corroberate? Friend of mine took his in for a BV upgrade and found he already had them! Which was nice.
Roar on.

Are the 4.3's more sort after.Anyone know how many were built? Are they likely to be a good investment?
Steve
Well I'm shopping today for a 4.3.. you pay a bit more but that 300 cc over the 4.0 gives you an extra 45bhp and some more torque..
..there's less of them about and I value them a bit higher than the 4.0 see my "WHOS SELLING" thread..
Cheers
Matt..
PS will be test driving a 4.3 by 1pm

Mole Valley have got one with 58K on the clock,93K.for £14950.Think I might take a look.
Steve
Not a bad price from a dealer Steve - bid him 14500 anyhow. What colour combo?
Roar on.
I reckon thats too much unless it comes with a warranty and some freebies... with that mileage it should be more like £13495... all IMO of course..
Cheers
Matt.

When buying the most important thing is condition, the Mole valley 4.3 is expensive unless mint condition. The 4.3's are rare and fetch a bit more than 4.0's but no need to pay too much. they did also make a few 4.5 BVs in 93/94.
'Its a tricky one as I have the option of a nice 1993 4.3 or 1996 4.0 for the same money... the 1996 4.0 has the BW box of course too..'
Yep, that's tricky. If condition and price can't seperate them, I think I would decide on colour combination and then likely depreciation. If the 96 car is such a bargain you might even be able to keep it for a year or two and not lose anything.

Can't tell much from a picture and dealer descrption, you need to check the chassis , wish bones etc, I love that colour though !

Colour is Ocean Haze, full Green leather.
I saw a L reg - think it was 94, at Henly Heritage in this colour - just AFTER I had bought mine. It was gorgeos! (sp?). And it was similar low miles and the same price I paid private!
Go for it before somebody else does - it's worth it!
Roar on.
