Introducing Heinz - 987.2 Porsche Boxster S

Finally picked up my 1st Porsche.
Not the best weather to collect from the middle of Oxfordshire countryside, so looking a little dirty.
The car is a 2010 Boxster 3.4 S PDK, Basalt Black with Red Leather - not found the options sticker yet, but what i do know is that it has Sport Chrono Plus, PCM3, Heated Seats, Hardback sports seats with headrest crests, Extended leather to dashtops and top of doors, rear park assist, white dials, Carrera 2 19" alloys with matching Bridgestone tyres all round.
As part of the purchase, the dealer - Maundrells - fitted new pads and discs all round, new handbrake shoes, new condensor, AC recharge and replacement coolant pipes and a new MOT. I also got them to remove the silver "Boxster S " badges from the boot - i got them back, so may paint them matt black and put them back at a later date.
I've named it "Heinz" as its German and my 57th car to date - but my 1st Porsche!
Only driven it a few miles, but very happy bunny so far - the colour combo sold it too me - was looking for something other than Silver & Black and this popped up - which completely blew my original budget so required lots of grovelling to SWMBO!

Had the Boxsters few weeks now and really enjoying the Porsche experience. Weather has been good to have some roof down driving to hear the exhaust rasp. Power is brilliant and the car is so well balanced it just build confidence.
Not done too much too it yet other than refitting Black Boxster S badges to the boot and lots of cleaning to keep the black shiny.
Also found that whilst a painted garage floor looks nice, when it’s raining and it gets wet, it turns into an ice rink when you try and get out of the car in leather soled work shoes!
Had a meeting this morning and took the long way home....

Is that centre clock in the OP's photos a timer/stopwatch ?

A pal has a 53 plate dark blue Boxster S with black interior, I have driven it a few times and it is great.
He has had a few issues with the battery/alarm so I may get involved in sorting that out next Spring. He also wants to put a really good sound system in it, so does anyone know a decent suitable system to fit ?

Yes, it’s a stopwatch and laptimer as part of the Sports Chrono package. It swivels too which took me a while to find out.Not seen one of those before.
