Escort RS2000 - Maybe Counts as a Classic?
Discussion
Well it's registered as a 1972 2-litre so it could be, unless you know more than I do about that particular car. It's certainly not perfect, for example the wheels are wrong for a Mk1.
As to the original question - in case you hadn't noticed, the Mk1 prices, especially for 2-doors like this, have gone crazy in the last few years. If this is a real one and not rotten as a pear then it's kind of in the ball-park currently.

Genuine RS2000 were produced from July 1973 so a K reg is too early

It was previously orange too, RS2000's didn't come in orange IIRC which makes me think it's not a genuine car.
Not relevant to this particular car, as it's not a genuine RS2000, but they were available in Orange actually.Vista Orange was introduced as a colour option for the Mex and RS2 in the summer of 1974, so was one of the rarer colours, being within the last 6-7 months of AVO production.
The last of the three RS2000 I owned back in late 1985 was a Vista Orange car.
