iPod not playing in Golf GTD Mk 7.5

My iPod was working fine up until a few days ago. It's connected to the USB port. It's recognised fine, and displays the tracks and playlists, but it won't play the tracks, they just sit at 0.00. I can skip through the tracks without issue. I've tried the usual stuff - disconnect/reconnect, pressing the play/pause button, but still no joy. Has anyone had this same issue? Or offer any suggestions?

Tried a soft reset on the iPod?

If you hold the power button on your headunit for 15 seconds I think it reboots the unit and there's a hard reset in the menu that's worth a go.

My iPhone X and my T6 head unit constantly fight with each other too, some days working happily via CarPlay and other days not working at all.
