Anyone got any idea what could cause what looks like heat rash after an operation? No problem for first 10 days.
Its been about a week since it flared up and HC not having any effect (did initially seem to calm it down). Hospital say its reaction to the dressing they used and just use HC and it will go.
Its slowly spreading (now covering an area c. 4 inches x 6 inches directly spreading out from where the dressing was) and I think its a trip to the GP soon but given its the weekend its not ideal.
Is it just a reaction or could this be something worse? Its the mrs btw.. not me.
She has been feeling a bit rough the last 3-4 days too. I keep telling her to ring the GP but she does not want too. I told her to ring the ward today as I left for work and I came home and she had not rang.... great.
