From the thread linked earlier on PH to the crazy 35 things all dog owners do here which contains gems like you're taking the dogs harness off and say "let's get that bra off then., ooh naked."

So let's have our own record from no1 on that buzzfeed list, names you call your dog (and cat if we must) other than their proper name. Here is ours.

Charley aka

Poopy
Stinkypants (in recognition of the nose hair frazzling bottom burps)
Woofy McWooferson (in recognition of his greeting to passers by along the lane, deliveries etc)

though suspect the dog thinks his name is really either "Oi!" or "No!"

Daisy is either "Daisy dog" or "DD".

Barry is "Bazza" or "Baz" or before his crown jewels were lopped off, the wifes dog walking friends always referred to him as "sex pest"

Daphne is "Daffs"or "Daffas"

Our poor departed pug; Humphrey was generally referred to as either "Humpy" or "Humpy dog".

This thread seems to prove the suspicions about slightly dotty animal owners doesn't it?

Anyway, Jess, Jess-ticle, Jess-bomb or Pig. Or something less polite when she finds something to roll in or an irresistible scent to chase across many fields.

Our Springer called Fizz:
Wizzy
wizzy woo
woo
Farty Pants (when she came to us she was fed bakers - enough said)

Our Collie (Flint)- no longer with us.
Poo face - he used to roll in fox poo, but get most of it on his face. From when he was a puppy he was having very regular baths.

Our GSP (Fletcher)
Retardo - He's a fu****g retard. At least I think so. Well he isn't my previous collie.
Chops - what the other half calls him as he has big chops and keeps dribbling water everywhere after having a drink.

The cats were originally named Ella and Louis. Then the vet changed his mind about Louis being male and she became a Lou.

Now known as Smelly and Poo. Which is unfortunate, as that's what they answer to if they're outside and won't come in.

My wife banned me from renaming Parker (the dog) as Porker. To be fair, he's remained quite lean.
