Looking around today, trying to find the wife a nice birthday pressie, and found bunch of old photos, including one of her old rose taupe moggie, which was her first car, and served her well for a few years. Which got me thinking of buying her one for a third car, as they cant be that expensive..
Autotrader throws a few up, when I remember that there's a bloke round the corner who usually has a couple mixed in with the other British heaps. So off I wander for a chat, and a "that's a nice Sunbeam" type conversation, when the topic swings around to the wife's old car. "yeah, four door rose taupe one" says I. "Like that one" says he.....
Long story short, same car that she sold ten plus years ago. I bought the plate off him, as she is a dead hulk, for sentimental reasons.
Reason for post is.. I couldnt resist giving her the plate when she got home, so I need another good idea..37,mother of three, needs to be imaginative.....
