1) Switches in the side of instrument panel which turn on/off interior lights when door is opened?? Where might they have come from? they don't look remotely like anything available here.

2) little plastic caps that go over screw covers on the heater surround?

3) proper latch for glove box?

erm how about the caps for bathroom / kitchen fittings the are like a washer and a cap joined probably available from most hardware stores

P.S. Glad to see TVR's alive and well in Canada, my dads parents and brother & sister live in mid-Ontario, and all i ever see are huge Doge Ram pickups and the like, or rotting Trans-Ams!!!

I'm not sure about a proper (as in original) lock and key latch. Mine is currently fitted with a household cabinet "push-in to unlatch" and other than providing no security, it works fine (at least I've never had it pop open).

If I had to replace it, I think I would try a magnetic baby proof latch. There is one sold in Home Depot that uses a huge white removable magnetic "handle" to operate the lock. It kept the kids out of the stereo cabinet for years. I would snap the very strong magnet out of sight on the underside of the steering column/braces when not in use. Grady

Probably should add you would need a twin terminal switch, as the single terminal earth thru the bodywork normally, which obviously isnt an option to us!

Maybe obvious but...
