Mini Southern Wedge Meet Friday 6th May

A few of us are planning to storm the Ace Cafe on the above date which is the Middx TVRCC monthly meet, be nice to see some other wedges along too. Wedgie400, Redcar, Wayne all the regulars - you are expected

The Ace is on the North Circular, plan is to meet at IKEA at around 6.45 pm, there will be a small convoy going from Wycombe Cinema car park too.

Steve - I wouldn't mind coming, but I'm not sure if I should. I'm a bit weary of the traffic as I haven't driven round the North Circular before in the Tasmin and also I don't know where I would be going, so I would get lost very easily Where is the Ikea and Ace Café by the way?

The only other problem is that I have a bad back at the moment, so I don't know if I would be comfortable driving that far.

Wouldn't worry about the bad back - I always find it improves when I get in the wedge - or perhaps it's just you're mind is taken off it for some reason

Are you sure you would not rather meet up at a bar in Barcelona .. it's 70 degrees, sunny, warm evenings
and the beer is cold.

May be there in the 400, and tyes the nosecone is still primered!
Although it may get sprayed this weekend.
Just need to wait for the rain to stop so I can bolt the gearbox back on so i can get to the sprayer

I hope I can make it!!!! Bit of a problem in that I think I have used my sickness/Early from work/Cancel meetings quoter over the past 2 days!!!

If my boss is reading this it has nothing to do with the TVR I purchased on Monday night!!!!!

Really would like to come....one of the main reasons for buying the car is coming to wedge gatherings...I will work on it!!!

If anyone cant make the 6.45 meet at Ikea, just get to the Ace Cafe at whatever time you can. I went a couple of time last year and it went on till well after 11pm!

Indeed that is the car park, just go into the area in front of the cinema, i.e. on the opposite side of the road. If you get delayed/ lost call me on 07775 807589. Plan is to meet at the car park about 6pm to leave fairly sharp. Hope you can make it, we have quite a nice little gathering now.
