...does your P&J use over a given period/mileage?

I have had my car since December and it seems to have used very little, probably covered 1000 miles.

Is this average, low, high (or something else)?

Lots of previous topics on this. Big variety between the engines. Mine used around 1 litre per 1000 miles others hardly used any.

Probably depends on how hard you drive your Cerb?

During the winter, cold and wet months, when not driving the car much, oil useage should be minimal (if not then there may be something a miss).

But when the weathers good and you get to "drive" the Cerb, then oil useage will increase, although in varying amounts.

As a guide, mine had an oil change 2.5k miles ago and I have put in about a litre since, but during this time it has hit the Rolling Road a couple of times (Emerald Remap) and has been up and down the M1 a few times at pleasent speeds.

Long runs, very little. Stp start lots. Averages about 1 litre per 1000 miles and has done for 20,000 miles.

In the last 2500 miles about 1/4 litre and this is on an engine with 70,000 on the clock.
