I added a T350t with a 4.0l red rose rebuild plus a lot of mods declared to my policy with Classicline and it was very straight forward,In fact it was really very casual.

The price was the same as I pay for a 2004 Jag xj6 so I excepted and won't even try to understand the ethics of car Insurance. However I only put it on 3k mileage pa which isn't going to be enough. (Price of insurance is in my blog) it's about £120 more than my 4.0l std Chimaera

I’ve recently had a 4.3 upgrade on my Tuscan. When I came to insure it it cost me about £40 extra through Footman James, though that also included updated suspension (nitrons).

I fortunately live in a more relaxed part of the globe for insurance - but - My Sagaris has a 4.3 litre engine, registered as a 4 litre, looks like a standard car - now how would anyone know it is upgraded - short of stripping down and measuring bore and stroke.

Now - I am thinking - has it got a 4.3, or not - I just have to take Mr Cleggs word for it - I could have more grief trying to insure it as a 4.3 than a 4.........

Mt 350 has a 4.3 and Mannings are fine insuring it. Just remember to factor in agreed value as it'll cost you a lot to be put back in the same position otherwise should the worst happen.

Just a bit of advice. Manning's already knew mine was a 4.3 when I phoned them up to adjust my insurance, as they had seen it on Powers Facebook
