It's a film . . . but it's to do with music. So hopefully this is in the right spot!
Did anyone else go and see this last night? A great film about Bruce Dickinson's trip into Sarajevo to play a gig back in '94 when there was a war going on.
I watched it at Cabot Circus with a couple of mates from school which turned out to be apt - it occurred to us that whilst all we were worried about was summer jobs and the imminent release of our GCSE results, these guys were going through a war. Of course I was aware of the situation at the time, but only as much as your average 16yo is when all he really wants to do is listen to music and buy a motorbike.
Less music than we expected, but that was no bad thing. All in all, a great film.
Sorry to have missed the Q&A afterwards - now I'm almost 40, my concerns are more about catching the last fast train home to enjoy the comfort of my own bed!
