FBHVC 'Drive It Day' Sunday 22nd April
Discussion
If the weather is ok.
This is the nearest 'event' to me: http://www.atwellwilson.org.uk/whats-on.html
Does anyone know of any other events in Somerset / Wilts?

I'll be out and about, but I'm usually driving one of my Triumphs anyway. The Triumph Sports Six Club Somerset branch is doing a run to a Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth. There doesn't appear to be an official meet at Haynes Motor Museum this year but I wouldn't be surprised if there weren't a number of individual cars there anyway.

I will be at the Bicester Sunday Scramble along with hundreds of others. If you dont have any plans yet check it out.
Ah, Bicester! The Wriggly Monkey* Brewery's first brew from their new brewery at Bicester Heritage will be available.

Sadly, I can't make it.

It's the 750 Motor Club Austin 7 trial at Cobham on Sunday, I'll be doing that.
A good excuse to roll out this video from a trail we did earlier this year.
Quite a few spectators come along, some in interesting cars.

I shall be off on this little run soon, which just happens to end with a bit of a show right opposite my house.

It's Drive it Day, so out we went. The weather is unimportant since my skin is waterproof, but it was very hot and the front N/S brake locked on so I had to bleed it a bit. No more troubles after that. Then the car stopped of its own accord and refused to proceed.

It was over 30C in the shade. And I was thirsty

Very thirsty!

So further sustenance was called for.

And then we ate

And now, much later, we are back home.

HaHa! Obviously some well-organised people here in West Sussex, with one club filling up a car park on Iping Common when my wife wanted to walk the dog, and then I got a call from a nephew that the White Horse at Graffham was full of classics, a privately organised invasion from Surrey, apparently. And not just classics, but some serious modern stuff too. The classics included various Morgans, a blower Bentley, a couple of E-types, a local XKR, Lotus Elan and Evante, DB4, my Facellia etc. Great to see them all.
