Mum need a PAYG mobile for emergencies only.. much be really simple and not too fiddley, also which company is best to go with?

You do realise that you posted your email to your mother requesting a mobile telephone and money for the tuck shop on Pistonheads don't you?

I've got one you can have.

Older Ericsson one.

On Voadfone, all you have to do is get a PAYG SIM direct from Vodafone.

Edit - That's not that clear, if you go to the Voadfone web site they will sell you a SIM (they were free when I did it)

Pay the postage / buy us a beer. and you can have the phone. It one of these

I have 2 virgin sim cards and 2 genie O2 sim cards if that's any help

If its emergencies only, pop in to Carphone Whorehouse for a £20 Nokia. Network is not too important in this case. A SIM will be £5-£10 and may well include that much in credit as well. I use Orange on pay monthly and have no issues with them.

If it's for emergency only she will not want a monthly thing... with Orange I just pay £x when ever i need to top it up. (5 <= x <= 50)
