Hi guys, unusual question - Ive tried both SE and S versions of the 2008 A6 Avant . I love the seats and options that come with the S line, but I like the ride quality of the SE. I sold an SE as the seats gave me back pain, and I really like the S line seats a lot more. Ideally I’d like to buy an S line and then fit SE springs / shocks, which wouldnt cost too much and then give the best of both worlds.

Is it possible to retrofit the standard springs / shocks from an SE onto an S line car? Or are there any other suspension differences apart from the springs and shocks? I’d of course get the suspension re-aligned and inform insurance of the modification etc.

thanks

I may have a 2008 Audi A6 S-Line driver's seat in black leather (embossed S-Line, illuminated light, electric lumbar support) for sale for not much money if you're interested? wink
