Very nice!
My dad had a red one he bought from new, I don’t remember much about it because I was quite young. I do remember last seeing it as we drove away from Kettering Ford garage when he traded it in for a new V reg Cortina!

I love these my Dad had one from new and it was the first car i ever went in not that i remember as i was picked up from the hospital in it when i was born! My dad had it for many years before having to trade it in for a Cressida due to a new business venture.

I see them on the Japanese auctions and Mike Brewer bought one on that show where he traded round the world. Did your Dad get it for a good price as it looks mint!

What a Fantastic car! Always thought this ear of Japanese cars produced some good looking models.
Nice Workshop too.

Lovely car and great that you get to fettle it with your dad. Saw this one come up for sale and wondered who bought it smile

I am biased on the car a little - my little project can be found here: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...wink (I really need to update the thread and pictures!)

Whereabouts in the country are you? Only ask as I will need to do the same with regards to getting parts re-zinc'd and tidied, so recommendations based on experience are always good!

Great little car. Don’t worry about the MOT, it doesn’t need one as of May, so just wait a few days!
