Does anyone know of any new laws in the pipe line that will ban them.

Postponed i think. Don't think it was in the recent bill that they tried to put through.

didn't apply to the Road Angel in any case. It only applied to devices that actively detect scamming equipment, as oppose to checking GPS location against a database.

The RA-2 does have built in laser detection, but Blackspot have already stated they will disable that feature with a firmware upgrade if the new proposed law is brought in to force.

They also now sell a version without the Laser feature.

right have decided i need road angel 2 for this summer....

Navnow is doing them for £389, they seem to be £399 everywhere else.... think i will get one from halfords, a tenner more but at least if it has problems i can just take it back to the store rather than having to send it back to navnow....

before i bite the bullet - does anyone know anywhere that are doing them much cheaper???

Guy, here's a few options for you, there's a 2nd hand one offered aswell.I got mine from the Motor Show last year for £380.00.
