CC and CC Audio are different. CC is for video and has an HDMI connector. CC Audio of for audio and you can use a headphone jack to RCA output or, even better, you can use an optical out.
The Cast app works on Android and iOs.
It's great for what I use it for - streaming extreme quality Spotify into the back of an amp via optical
If, like me, you have two large amps, a mini system and a soundbar it makes it very easy to stream music all over the place.
You can group them if you're into that sort of thing but I'm not bothered.
