Hi chaps.
Decided on an aerospace. However I have a choice. They look the same but one says 'repetition minutes' on the face under breitling. The other says 'chronometre aerospace. Why's that then?? I guess they are different but how? And which is the best?
Thanks in advance

I’m guessing the non chronometer is quartz.

Best is subjective, unless the later ones are better made/more reliable.
The former were only produced between ‘94 & ‘00, the latter aftter that.
Assuming no difference in module fitment, then it’ll be down to price, and which you prefer the look of most.
If the modules are model dependent, then that may steer you into the newer Chronometre version.

There's a breakdown of the differences here but as far as I know the only big change was the introduction of a more accurate quartz movement in later watches. Annoyingly, Photobucket has nuked the images the OP of the thread used:

Doesn't the repetition minutes one chime the minutes or something when you press a button?

ETA, seems both versions have the feature

Off piste a bit.... Mike, I was trying to remember why you and I were in touch a few years ago - my memory is rubbish. I am sure we were PM'ing each other about something.

Quick tip on this, google 'wayback machine', open site and put the link in. Try one of the most recent snapshots and you should be able to see most of the photos (Oct 22 2017 seems to work ok).
