I've just been investigating my idle control prior to doing the NC500 again in a couple of weeks. I discovered that the TPS was sitting at 14%. Screw holes opened up and now sitting at 9% so hopefully that'll allow the ECU to drop into idle. My question is, when looking at rovergauge I noticed my 'target idle' was 1118rpm. The engine was cold, does 'target idle' change as engine temperature increases or is it fixed. If fixed then is there anything that can be done to give it a lower target

I have a tornado chip and mine changes from about 1350 cold start to 1030 warm idle.

I assume you can change these values with chips/remaps.

It moves depending on temp and engine load. You can re program if you want it but normally its around 800 - 900 rpm on a warm engine.

Ta, I'll go warm it up and see what the target drops to
