Post keyhole recovery

Hi all,
Five weeks ago I had my gallbladder removed via keyhole, the operation went well and the surgeon said that all should be good once I've got over the initial recovery period. I don't have any of the nasty post-op symptoms, my body is functioning as it should however I have a couple of questions to ask.
As part of the op 4 incisions were made, one for the camera and 3 for the surgical tools. The skin is healing well on all incisions however there appears to be a lump forming under the incision made just below my sternum, there's no redness/soreness/heat so I was wondering what this could be. Scar tissue build-up?
Secondly, and probably more relevant to those that may have had the op, the area around the lower incision by my navel still feels a little sore, almost like a muscle pull sensation. I'm aware that it may take 8-10 weeks for a full recovery however I'm wondering what other people's recovery path was like and if mine is comparable. My job can involve a degree of light but repetitive manual labour, I'm still on light duties however I'm very wary of doing myself an injury and/or prolonging my recovery.
I'll be calling the hospital tomorrow anyway, they said to call if I had any issues, I'd just like to sound out here as well.

I had keyhole surgery for a nephrectomy in 2016. Took much longer than the quoted eight weeks to get back to normal. Left me with a small hard lump on the left side of abdomen. Repeat visit to consultant who said they chop through various muscles to get at the bits they want to evict ( and also re-arrange intestines) so stuff takes a long time to return to normal.
The scars also felt tight for about six months. I was warned off doing any lifting and took it easy for half a year. 'Risk of hernia' said consultant.
Lump is still there. 'Muscle mass' said consultant. All subsequent scans clear.
Suggest you get a check-up appointment even if it's only to put your mind at rest. My consultant gave me a direct number for his department to call if there were any problems, rather than going through the GP.
