Audi S3 8V - any advice?

I’m looking into buying a used Audi S3 8V Auto this summer and I was looking for some advice as to what to look out for and some genuine owners comments on the car. It seems to tick all of the boxes but I’m yet to test drive one as I’m on holiday.

Good cars but i'd go for a Golf R. I personally prefer the styling and interior of the VW's. The Audi is the much nicer place to sit though, but it's not like the Golf feels particularly cheap inside.

I'm gonna get this out of the way before it gets mentioned, the usual comments on how often these get stolen is a given probably due to arrive any minute. I'd make your own mind up in that department.
